Popular restaurant and bar confirms immediate closure
A popular chain bar and restaurant has announced it is closing with immediate effect.
Revolución de Cuba overlooking the Floating Harbour opened in October 2018 and replaced the former Bordeaux Quay restaurant.
The venue offered Latin-inspired food, rum-led cocktails and Cuban-themed parties.

The Revolución de Cuba team have now taken to social media to share the news that the branch has closed.

“Amigos, we have loved shaking your cocktails and creating unmissable fiestas over the years, but as of today, 17th October 2023, we will sadly be closing our doors in Revolución de Cuba Bristol,” they said.
“We want to extend an enormous thank you for joining the Revolución de Cuba fiesta and making some unforgettable memories.
“Any guests with bookings will be contacted in due course – Thank you for your patience and understanding.
“For any guests looking for their next Cuban escape, your nearest Rev de Cuba is now our Cardiff location!”
The chain runs 17 other locations and is the part of the Revolution Bars group which also runs Revolution Bristol on St Nicholas Street.
The Mirror wrote on Tuesday that Revolution Bars has reported a significant yearly loss, blaming “very challenging” times for the late-night hospitality industry.
