A corner store with a difference

By Martin Booth  Monday Oct 24, 2022

Corner Stores promises to be “a corner store with a difference” selling local products as well as being a cafe and community hub.

Located on the corner of St John’s Lane and Paultow Road in Bedminster, Corner Stores sells coffee, cakes and pastries alongside homewares, prints, books and more.

It has been opened by the same team behind Fox & West on Wells Road in Totterdown and Nook in the Broadwalk shopping centre in Knowle.

A small food menu at Corner Stores includes toasties and salads, with a few chairs in the front window of the former hairdresser and two tables outside.

Co-owners Lucy Fox and Hannah West met while teaching at a North Somerset school and quickly developed a close friendship, with community at the heart of each of their trio of business ventures.
