Risen like the phoenix (rabbit?) from the flames of the old Richmond pub in Clifton is a bouncy young newcomer, the White Rabbit. They’ve taken the magnificent old pub-building, sadly neglected in its most recent incarnations, and given it a fresh lease to return it to its previous splendour.
Run by a pair of friends in their twenties who are passionate about top-quality beer, pizza, and music – the White Rabbit provides just that. Their Italian head chef carefully selects the best flavour combinations (we recommend the Crudo pizza) – with the whole White Rabbit team taking pride in serving fantastic, authentic food made with the best Italian imported ingredients. Even the dough is freshly made in the traditional way – every single day – with only the highest quality Italian Flour.
Expect great atmosphere, top-quality pizzas, a gem of a roof terrace (perhaps a cheeky Birra Morretti in the sun?) for and a range of top-drawer local beers – with a local favourite, Good Chemistry, currently on tap.
And Wriggle’s top tip for this week – they’ve got a wall-sized HD projector showing the Euro 2016 matches (don’t worry – it’s tucked away, so won’t disturb you if you’d rather avoid the football) that no-one knows about yet…
