Mr Noodle to compete in British Street Food Awards 2023
A business which started as a pop-up in a restaurant in Redland will be competing at the UK’s most prestigious street food competition.
Mr Noodle – who likes to keep his identity secret – is heading to the regional heats of the British Street Food Awards 2023 and hoping to then make it to the national final in London.
Mr Noodle specialises in ramen and cooks noodles using a traditional Japanese method; with nutrient-rich broths prepared for up 14 hours; chicken, pork and beef sourced from local farms; and premium hand selected vegetables.

Mr Noodle will be heading to Portsmouth in May to compete in the regional heats.
“We will be competing against the best street food vendors in the country picked out of over 3,000 applications, so it’s a massive effort from the Mr Noodle team to be selected,” Mr Noodle told Bristol24/7.
“It’s huge achievement to even make the heats, as they have only chosen the most unique and best street food traders.”
The two dishes that Mr Noodle will be cooking at the competition are Korean fried chicken ramen and vegan cauliflower wing katsu curry.
