Pan-n-Ice have taken up position in a converted Citroen CV van in the middle prong of Cabot Circus’ three walkways.
Their concept is new to the UK but big in Thailand, which is where Henry and his friend and business partner Rob Huysinga discovered it while backpacking last summer.
Warm winter specials cost £3.95, with names such as Brownie for #BAE, You Know You Want To (Oreos and Nutella) and Peanut Mess (Reese’s Cups and peanut butter).
Ice cream and one topping costs £3.50, and it’s 50p more for extra toppings which include popping candy, strawberries and meringues.
With Swoon opening on College Green next week, Bristol ice cream devotees have never had it sweeter.
