Stonkingly good burgers from Steameez

By Martin Booth  Tuesday Sep 29, 2020

One of Bristol’s best street food businesses has branched out into burgers.

Steameez is from the same team behind Alp Mac, with their macaroni cheese swapped for classic cheeseburgers made with the highest quality ingredients.

Chris Griffett and Ysemay Hackett-Evans have once again joined forces for the new venture – which can currently be found at the Harbourside Market.

Steameez’s beef patties are made with aged rib and flank cuts of beef from Origin Butchers, with the burgers half grilled and half steamed to lock in all of the flavours within a toasted brioche bun from Hobbs House Bakery.

American-style cheese and dill pickles are made each week by Chris and Ysemay.

Choices of burgers are a double cheeseburger (£7) or bacon double cheeseburger (£8), with the Swiss double cheeseburger (£8) featuring Ogleshield raclette cheese.
