133 things to do in Bristol in June 2018

We’re well into festival season now (check out our picks of the best happening locally, nationally and internationally all month) so it only seems fair to celebrate all things al fresco.

Bristol Food Connections offers more than 100 events throughout June, including the Summer Feast with food cooked by young people on the Bristol24/7 and Square Food Foundation’s young chefs programme, and a medicinal herb walk through Castle Park.

Bristol Refugee Festival also returns with a month-long programme of events, culminating in a big knees up in Queen Square on June 24 featuring international musicians and fun for all the family.

Finally, site-specific theatre specialists take over Eastville Park’s abandoned swimming pool for a spectacular outdoor performance of Romeo and Juliet.
