14 things to do in Bristol this weekend, June 22-24 2018

This solstice weekend is the longest of the year, so make the most of all that delicious daylight by catching some of the excellent things going on in our sun-drenched city (fingers crossed).

Kick off on Friday with food and drink galore as Honest Burgers make a foray over to Good Chemistry in St Anne’s, and keep topped up with cider aplenty at the inaugural Cider Salon’s weekend-long programme of events. Round of the weekend with a trip to Bambalan on Sunday, as some of Bristol’s best-fed food writers and critics, including Bristol24/7 Editor Martin Booth, will swap pen for pan and cook up a storm for charity.

It’s also a good weekend for laughing until your sides split. There are surreal observational comedy from Markus Birdman on Friday night, while Saturday night is the final performance of Remainia Productions’ silly and satirical musical Anti-Brexit Love Show. On Sunday there are a host of Edinburgh previews from the likes of Jen Collier, Chris Chopping and Phil Cooper at The Crofters Rights.
