15 things to do in Bristol this weekend – January 19-21 2018

This weekend presents the perfect opportunity to get dressed up and head to The Hippodrome, with the award-winning opera, Madama Butterfly gracing the stage on Friday and the nation’s favourite ballroom couple, Anton and Erin bringing the glitz on Saturday.

Saturday offers the opportunity to fill up with grub and do some good at the same time. The Eating Room is running a foody fundraiser with all the profits going towards the ongoing campaign to save the Totterdown Centre.

Bristol’s focus on beer also continues as Love to Brew offer free, that’s right, free craft beer tasting as part of tryanuary.

Music of all varieties is on offer, with Friday bringing late-night heavyweights, The Blast and Rumble in the Jungle, but if you like getting in before 6am and maybe finding a new favourite band then The Fleece is holding the 10th instalment of its all-day ‘Sunday Scouting Sessions.’
