Portraits of women over 40 embracing life
: Saturday, Mar 2 2019 - Friday, Mar 8 2019
This week’s highlights include Ibibio Sound Machine – a clash of African and electronic elements – at the Trinity; exploring the butterfly effect through the lens of LGBT liberation in Butterfly at the Loco Klub; wine tasting with cheese; and a new comedy night in Bedminster.
There are also two multi-venue festivals taking place across the city this week: Submerge, promising “a bold and diverse programme of immersive shows, installations and experiences which challenge the senses”; and Filmic, Bristol’s annual film-meets-music celebration.
