21 things to do this week in Bristol, January 13-19 2020

After a sold-out show with disco’s leading man Folamour, Utopia could only go harder for their next show, enlisting the help of names from the likes of Outplay and Ninja Tun – expect a neon-tinted affair.

At the Alma Tavern, Lucy Theobald performs autistic writer Rhiannon Lloyd-Williams’ award-winning play The Duck: a glimpse beneath the surface of one autistic woman’s world. Also at the Alma Tavern on Friday and Saturday, see the one-woman  about the life and times of Imagist poet Hilda Doolittle, Before I Am Lost.

For something a bit different, head to the Arnolfini on Thursday, for a discussion of race and masculinity representation in mainstream media at Lowkey: Decoding Race and Masculinity, presented by MANDEM and Raise The Bar, featuring lots of special guests.
