There’s plenty on over this spooky Halloween weekend. A wealth of freaky films kick off on Friday with a drink-along screening of The Silence of the Lambs at Avery’s, followed by a live-scored Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde in the grand setting of Bristol Cathedral and finished off with We are the Weirdos on Sunday.
Music fans have much to celebrate with London Grammar at Colston Hall on Friday night, DJ Harvey kicking off the Halloween fun at Motion on Saturday, and folk singer Bella Hardy bringing the weekend to a mellow close.
If it all gets a bit scary, keep things light by peeking inside the curious cabinet of Madame Fanny du Thé with an inventive musical comedy from local theatre company Riddlestick, or marvel at ventriloquist Paul Zerdin and his cast of puppets.
