September 10: SWX Opening Saturday: Codec Launch Party, SWX
The re-opening weekend of SWX sees them return with their ever popular Codec nights, with music of all genres.

September 11: Bearpit Market, The Bearpit
The monthly Bearpit Market returns, with independent vendors of all varieties coming down to sell their wares.

A new series from the Easton based community kitchen, where writers/thinkers are invited down to discuss their ideas and inspirations over good food.

September 27 – October 2: Encounters Film Festival
The UKs leading short film, animation and virtual reality festival, Encounters boasts a series of limited screenings, industry events and celebrations of film across the city over the course of the week.

September 28: Haunted & Hidden Bristol Tour, City Centre
A tour around Bristol City Centre and the Old City, exploring locations with a sordid past, and hearing stories from long ago about ghouls, poltergeists and curses.

September 29: Overmono, SWX
The duo who’ve single handedly defined the past few years of electronic music take to the newly reopened SWX, bringing their forward thinking, yet still super club ready sounds.

September 30: Clairo, O2 Academy
One of the originators of the bedroom pop wave, Clairo comes to Bristol as part of a run of shows across the UK, delivering her take on the shoegaze, dream-like sounds of the relatively new brand of pop music.

September 30: Bristol Beacon Presents: Jay Electronica, Marble Factory
Jay Electronica is something of a rap myth and legend. Over the years he’s produced for Nas, signed to Jay Z’s Roc Nation, and released a string of singles and a mixtape. His debut full-length record was released in 2020 to critical acclaim, with Pitchfork calling it “a mystical, distinctive work that nearly lives up to all the lore surrounding the rapper” and Clash describing it as “a biblical album for biblical times, with enough human flaws to make it imperfect”. This show is not one to be missed.
