175 things to do in Bristol in November 2018

It’s another month packed full of culture. There are multiple film festivals to enjoy, including FilmBath which returns with 55 per cent of its features directed by women, a film about boat-building screened aboard a boat as part of Afrika Eye, and Horfield’s most famous son on the silver screen for Cary Grant Comes Home Again.

Early in the month there are bonfire night celebrations at Lakota and around Psychopomp’s Distiller’s Table, as well as organised displays around the city.

There are also some great theatre and performance events to look forward to, including multimedia afrofuturism performance Nightclubbing at Trinity, mashup comedy Oedipuss in Boots from the Wardrobe Theatre team and a production of Tony Award-winning Clybourne Park at Bristol Old Vic’s newly-opened Weston Studio.
