Looking forward to a day of cycling on car-free streets
Sunday morning is the Bristol Grand Prix and the afternoon is the Let's Ride event
It really is party time this weekend with a packed schedule of events.
On Saturday, St Paul’s Carnival returns with ten hours of fun on the streets around Grosvenor Road. The procession begins at midday and runs until 4pm, so there are plenty of chances to see the spectacular costumes and floats. Eat some jerk chicken, have your insides rumbled by the bass of a sound system and enjoy the music until the sun goes down.
On Sunday, the city centre will be closed off as the Grand Prix and Let’s Ride Bristol rolls through. The professionals will whizz around corners in the morning, while cyclists of all abilities and ages are encouraged to get on their bikes and get involved in the afternoon.
For more things to do this weekend, see our What’s On section.
