A real establishment of Bristol’s LGBTQ+ scene, Don’t Tell Your Mother returns each month in 2020. Expect pop and indie music at this queer friendly club night.

Eat Up! 2nd Birthday Party

Exchange, 72-73 Old Market, Bristol, BS2 0EJ, Saturday, January 11, 7pm-2am

Start the new year with a bang and support LGBTQ+ bands in Bristol. This will be a real celebration of feminist and queer music.

ESDR presents The Magnificent Nina West Show

SWX Bristol, 15 Nelson Street, Bristol, BS1 2JY, Wednesday, February 5, 6.30pm-11pm

ESDR and Klub Kids have joined forces with some of the UK’s best drag magicians, to create the UK and Europe’s first ever drag magic show. The audience can expect a night of great drag, comedy and, of course, some mysterious magic.

The Dragprov Revue

The Bristol Improv Theatre, 50 St Paul’s Road, Bristol, BS8 1LP, Friday, February 28, 8pm-10pm, www.improvtheatre.co.uk

Formed of Christian Adore and Eaton Messe, The Dragprov Review are queer performers, creating a night of sharp wit with suggestions from the audience and is described as Ru Paul’s Drag Race meets Whose Line Is It Anyway?

Queer Zine Library

Eat Up! For Starters, a community group running music workshops to promote diversity in the city’s music scene, host their first LGBTQ+ zine day, with a zine workshop billed.

Temptation Does Pride 

Queenshilling, 9 Frogmore Street, Brisotl, BS1 5NA, Friday, April 24, 9pm-3am

Returning for its third year and organised by the UWE LGBT+ Team, the Temptation Cabaret Show will be raising money for Bristol Pride.

Transcend Festival 2020

A weekend of music, performances, workshops and anti-oppression politics, by and for trans, non-binary and intersex people held near Bristol. 2020 is the festival’s inaugural year.

Bristol Pride

Location TBC, June 26-July 11, www.bristolpride.co.uk

Attending the parade is a must, but Bristol Pride never fail to put on a huge variety of events over several weeks in the summer, from film screenings to a dog show.

Trans Pride South West

An annual festival celebrating the diversity of transgender, non-binary, intersex and gender variant people. Expect events, activities and discussion.
