Saturday: Bristol Pride Day
After a two-year absence, the anticipated Pride Day is returning to Bristol on the Downs. An annual celebration of equality, diversity and belonging, Pride Day provides members of the LGBTQ+ community with a safe space to enjoy music, a parade, delicious food and some amazing speakers.
The festival is headlined by none other than Carly Rae Jepsen and boasts five stages, a youth area, community area and a variety of food stalls.
Saturday: Parade March
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the first pride march in the UK and so all are encouraged to show their support for the LGBTQ+ community by joining in.
The walking parade is approximately two miles long and will march from Castle Park, through Broadmead to eventually finish by Harbourside.
