Two become one: Mel C and Sink The Pink come together for Pride
Two become one as Mel C and Sink The Pink come to Bristol Pride on Saturday, July 13 as part of a new live tour around the biggest pride events and festivals in the world.
Mel C of the Spice Girls, the 90s’ ultimate female power pop group, and Sink The Pink, a nightclub collective of drag queens, pop stars and flamboyant dancers are the latest editions to Bristol Pride’s biggest lineup yet.
Already announced to perform at the Pride Festival include Boney M and Peppermint of Ru Paul’s Drag Race fame, as well as an array of events that start on Saturday, June 29 that run across the city for two weeks and culminate in the Pride Festival on the Downs on Saturday, July 13.

Sporty Spice Mel C is a long-time ally and icon of the LGBTQ+ community and said of collaborating with nightclub movement: “This is a bit of dream come true for me! I’m going on tour with Sink the Pink, the most inclusive, fun and fabulous club night in London and we’re taking their best drag queens round the world, for a truly special show. I can’t wait!”
Sink The Pink will keep the party going long into the night, with a DJ set at Bristol Pride’s official afterparty, alongside Guilty Pleasures, Don’t Tell Your Mother and Kiki Bristol.
Sink The Pink are also coming to the city on Saturday, April 13, for any queer people who can’t wait until Pride for a party and want a chance to see the amazing performers that are part of the collective before the Festival. Pride will be a return visit Mel C’s return visit as well; she is coming to Ashton Gate with the rest of the Spice Girls in Jun, albeit minus Victoria.
With many great acts already announced and with this latest reveal, it sounds like the party is just going to get better – and even more inclusive and diverse.
