Cycling and poetry collide for an evening in Hanham

Caroline Burrows, also known as VerseCycle has a deep love for wheels and words that rhyme, which will be fusing together at her local bike repair shop.

Her “Turning Pedals into Poems Tour” will consist of an hour of anecdotal poems, sharing her cycling experiences and literary connections to her findings.

She occupies a warm corner of Twitter, with more than 160 #BristolBikeBard verses and counting.

John Wood’s Cycle Repair Centre in Hanham on July 28 is the first stop off for her tour, as she welcomes the public to follow her on a journey through poetry.
