Monday-Friday

Farm Adventurers, Windmill Hill City Farm
A unique, all-year-round childcare experience for children aged two to five years to experience farming and nature in the heart of the city.
9am-midday; and 1pm-4pm. £19 per session (minimum requirement of two sessions per week)

Monday

Debutots drama and storytelling, The Rising Sun
Especially for little ones aged six months to four and their grownups, with music, dancing, parachute, puppets and bubbles and a unique Debutots story to join in with. Then enjoy some coffees, toasties and cakes while the children have some free play time.
10.30am.

Waves, Watershed
A Cinébabies screening, which enables parents/carers to see the latest releases in the safe knowledge that their babies can cry, play and babble without worrying other cinema-goers. The sound volume is lower and the lights are up a little for these screenings.

Tuesday

DragonBird Theatre, Tobacco Factory Theatres

DragonBird Theatre was created in 2012 by Tilly Langdon and Lotte Nørgaard, who wanted to create a theatrical experience for very young children – photo courtesy of DragonBird Theatre

An Early Years theatre company whose homemade sets and props inspire children to create their own theatrical adventure when back at home. Each session starts with a short performance of a story and is followed by a facilitated session where everyone gets to play and explore adventures based on the show.
10.30am & 1pm. £4.50.

Tuesday & Thursday

Under-5s make a mess, Children’s Scrapstore
A playful and creative session with different sensory and scrap-inspired craft activities each time. Don’t forget to wear old clothes!
10.15am-11.45am & 1.15pm-2.45pm. £6.

Wednesday

Little Women, The Cube

Baby Cinema is the Cube’s (mostly) weekly morning cinema slot aimed especially at parents/carers and their babies. Help yourself to free tea or coffee, sometimes even nibbles; with the auditorium kept cosy with the sound low and lights dimmed, but not turned off.
11am. £3 (babies free)

Connect & play, St Werburgh’s City Farm
A toddler and parent/carer group in the urban green space of Boiling Wells. Lou and Begonia facilitate an outdoor session every Wednesday morning where with campfire cooking, exploring, singing, stories, playing, making and more.
10am-11.30am, £8 for under 5s (babies free); £4 for siblings

Saturday

WokyFest, Wapping Wharf
Celebrate the Chinese New Year with family friendly activities from calligraphy and Chinese writing workshops, dancers and performers including the University of Bristol Chinese Lion Dance Troupe.
11am-9.30am. Free.
