Mummy Mornings to launch at Cribbs

By Helen Martin  Wednesday Jun 10, 2015

The first Mummy Morning at Cribbs Causeway takes place tomorrow. With a view to connect mums, Mummy Mornings will be running every Thursday from June 11 until 16 July 16.

Each week there will be free baby-friendly activities, as well as offers and discounts from selected stores and cafes. The idea is to bring mums together in a friendly, safe and convenient environment.

After collecting vouchers at the Information Desk, mums can head off for a coffee at the café meeting point and utilise one of their discount vouchers. Then post-coffee and a chat, they can make their way to one of the activities. These will rotate each week and include face painting, story time sessions and parent and baby singalongs. There’ll also be something for grown-ups, with activities including styling workshops, mini makeovers and free hand massages.

“The Mall is very baby-friendly, with free parking and easy access for pushchairs, so we’re already really popular with parents. We noticed that a lot of mums were visiting on their own with buggies. The Mall team is made up of quite a few mums and, having been there ourselves, we know how nice it is to meet up with other parents, particularly if you don’t have family nearby.” explains Maria Crayton, head of marketing at The Mall. “But of course, dads and grandparents are also welcome!”

Parents are advised to arrive for around 10.30am on the day to pick up vouchers from the Information Desk, which is located on the lower level of The Mall. Kiddie Karts (push cars for toddlers) will also be free to use from 10.30am for two hours with your Mummy Mornings voucher.
