New pottery painting workshop opens in Bishopston
There is something extremely therapeutic about holding a unicorn in one had and painting it with the other.
It doesn’t have to be a unicorn either. The range of pottery items to paint at Kiln includes a range of small animals; an assortment of plates, pots and pans; and at this time of year a few Christmas items as well.
Kiln (on Overton Road just off Gloucester Road before the Hobgoblin) offers pottery painting sessions, children’s parties and adult craft workshops.
is needed now More than ever

Just a few of the items that can be painted at Kiln
Six-year-old Mersina painted a snowman, while her dad created a rather hallucinogenic yellow and red reindeer.
On the table next to us, three sisters and their grandparents were also deep in concentration painting decorations to hang on their tree.
Paints are provided at Kiln – as is coffee from Blind Owl Roasters and cakes from Pearly King.
Prices of item to paint range from £6 to around £40, and £4 covers the cost of glazing and firing your masterpiece in the kiln at Kiln, which can then be picked up around a week later.
