Unique stargazing in UK’s only 3D planetarium
The UK’s first 3D planetarium will be offering Bristolians the chance to enjoy some very special stargazing this summer.
In response to popular demand, At-Bristol Science Centre is launching Planetarium Nights, a series of brand new 3D shows exploring the glory of our solar system.
Wannabe astronauts can take a tour of the glittering summer night sky and blast off into space to fly through the rings of Saturn, explore a black hole and witness the spectacle of our Milky Way Galaxy.
The Planetarium Nights Summer Stargazing show will use the latest digital 3D technology to give visitors a stunning, immersive view of space like never before.
Lydia Ladbrooke, At-Bristol’s commercial manager, said: “We’ve listened to feedback and requests from our visitors, so it’s great to know that there is an appetite for planetarium-only shows for an adult audience, as well as the wider family-focused offer that we have. We’re very proud of our new 3D planetarium, so it’ll be a chance for visitors to dip in to sample some of what At-Bristol offers, and of course, it’ll be a fantastic evening exploring the Solar System in awe-inspiring 3D!”

Show times are 7.30pm and 8.45pm for each event.
