Fabulous fashion at The Hobbs Show
As the largest fashion show in the UK outside of London, it’s safe to say that the night of style, music and performance that is The Hobbs Show is a highly-coveted platform for the best independent boutiques, designers and fresh fashion talent from Bristol and beyond. With the big event edging ever nearer, here’s a sneak peek at some of the brands you can expect to see hitting the catwalk on February 6, from indie streetwear to high-end couture:
1. Recession Clothing
Based at a treasure trove of a shop on Jacob Wells Road, Recession is all about vintage, one-off pieces that you won’t find anywhere else. Owner Gill Loats firmly believes in the magic of shopping ‘in real life’ as opposed to online – touching fabrics and trying on items without worrying about the size label is an important part of the process at Recession.
