“Always apply eye make up first, as it tends to drop onto the cheeks. Use soft browns to bring out the eyes and a darker shade in the crease to define. Try priming with a creamy shadow to help the colours really pop.”

Products: MAC Paint Pot in ‘Painterly’ (£16) & Urban Decay Naked 3 palette (£38)

Step 2

“Make sure you apply liner as close to the lash line as possible – you don’t want to see any skin. Brown liners can be nice for a more natural look as they still define the eyes but aren’t as harsh as black.”

Products: Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Liner in Brown (£8)

Step 3

“I’ve been using this Sleek conditioning mascara for a while and I can really tell the difference, it does work well on thin or sparse lashes and doesn’t cost the earth.”

Products: Sleek I’m Conditional Mascara (£8)

Step 4

“Apply the concealer before your base. This one is light-reflecting so it gives great coverage for any lines or dark circles.”

Products: Clinique Airbrush Concealer (£16)

Step 5

“For this look I’m using BB Cream rather than foundation. It gives lighter, more natural-looking coverage and a nice, fresh sheen. It smells amazing too!”

Products: Garnier BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector (£5)

Step 6

“A tip with filling in your brows is to go in soft – you can always build them up if you need too. Your eyebrows should end in line with your nose and the corner of your eye, and arch in line with your nose and your pupil.”

Products: Collection Eyebrow Kit (£4)

Step 7

“Don’t just outline your lips – fill in the entire lip with liner before applying your lipstick over the top. This will even out the tones and give the colour something to stick to. Apply the first layer of lipstick with a brush, blot with a tissue and then apply again for a long-lasting look.”

Products: No7 Perfect Liner in ‘Plum’ (£7) & Body Shop Colour Crush Lipstick in Let’s Grape It On (£10)

Victoria’s top beauty tip

“Always exfoliate your skin and drink plenty of water – make up sits best on skin that’s well looked after.”
