Occupation: Sales adviser, Superdry
What are you wearing? My jeans and hoodie are both from Superdry and my loafers are from Office.
What’s your favourite trend for this season? I know it’s not summer yet but I’ve just bought a pair of bright white shorts and I’m going to be wearing it with a floral shirt when the weather gets better. It’s all about bright colours.
What do you like about Bristol Fashion Week? I went to my first one last autumn and really enjoyed it. It’s different from anything else in Bristol and there’s stuff for men as well as women.

Amie Kewley

Occupation: Marketing
What are you wearing? My t-shirt is Warehouse, trousers from Whistles at John Lewis, shoes from Office, hat from H&M and coat from Topshop – although I’m hoping I won’t need a coat for much longer, looking at the weather.
What’s your favourite trend for this season? For me, it’s ruffles all the way! I love the oversized ruffles, especially on off-the-shoulder tops and as features on garments like on the sleeves or the hems of trousers. Warehouse have an amazing pair like this at the moment which I have my eye on.
What do you like about Bristol Fashion Week? I just think it’s such a fun event. It’s very ‘Bristol’ in that the vibe is totally relaxed and the outfits are trend-led and inspiring.

Charlie Allen

Occupation: Sales adviser, Superdry
What are you wearing? My jeans and T shirt are from Superdry and I got my trainers in JD Sports.
What’s your favourite trend for this season? I’m into tropical prints. Tropical shirts, tropical shorts, tropical everything… but not all at once!
What do you like about Bristol Fashion Week? I haven’t been yet so I’m really looking forward to going this time. I think it’s great we have something like this up at the Mall – it keeps things interesting.

Chloe Brandt

Occupation: Store manager, Warehouse
What are you wearing? Top and skirt by Warehouse, and my shoes are from Office.
What’s your favourite trend for this season? Ruffles are a key trend coming through, as well as stripes and particularly bold stripes – these are really on trend for this season. I also really like denim as a trend this season; not just jeans but denim pieces, such as jackets and skirts, too. I’m also really looking forward to seeing some bright, bold colours coming through, which are much needed after the dreary winter months!
What do you like about Bristol Fashion Week? It’s so Bristolian, which is a funny thing to say, I know, but it’s such a big deal for Bristol. I love that it’s so accessible, you can shop the shows straight after you’ve seen the looks on the catwalk just by heading back into the Mall. It makes it very easy to see – and then buy – all the latest trends.

Dan Roberts

Occupation: Sales adviser, New Look
What are you wearing? The whole outfit is from New Look.
What’s your favourite trend for this season? For men there are going to be a lot of smart casuals – so you can pair smart trousers and a jacket with a t-shirt underneath for a fresher look. Pastels are also going to be in for blokes, so that gives us a few more options.
What do you like about Bristol Fashion Week? This is going to be my first one, so I’m looking forward to seeing how they style our new collections on the catwalk.

Emmeline Stevens

Occupation: Image consultant
What are you wearing? Dungarees and denim shirt from New Look, a belt from Biba and my trusty M&S boots.
What’s your favourite trend for this season? That’s almost too difficult to answer this season. I’m a fan of the classic stripe and so much denim; we’ll see both in abundance this season. I’m also torn between the great modern floral prints and I’m a sucker for the soft feminine rock-chic look mixing soft leather with silky chiffon. And of course, love the dungarees. It’s the first time I’ve worn them since the age of two.
What do you like about Bristol Fashion Week? For me, Bristol Fashion Week is about celebrating style – it’s not just for fashionistas nor is it just a ‘show’, it’s a social event for everyone and most certainly brings women together of various ages, shapes and sizes. The atmosphere of the show is electric and the buzz in the centre is lively and it’s different every time.

Kathrin Munday

Occupation: Sales adviser
What are you wearing? Skirt, top and shoes all by Coast – you’ve got to love that staff discount!
What’s your favourite trend for this season? I love florals and also bright colours. It cheers me right up.
What do you like about Bristol Fashion Week? I think it will just be nice to see how they style it all – we see it all on the hangers every day, but seeing how it’s worn in real life by lots of different models all different ages, shapes and sizes – that’s what’s exciting.

Leanne Warren

Occupation: Sales adviser, New Look
What are you wearing? It’s all New Look – hard to resist when I’m around it all the time!
What’s your favourite trend for this season? We’ve got a collection we’re calling ‘Castaway’ which has quite a beachy vibe with ripped denims, lots of pale pinks, lace and washed out stripes. It’s a very relaxed look, which I like a lot.
What do you like about Bristol Fashion Week? This is my first one but I’m really excited to see Denise Van Outen because I heard she was brilliant last time.

Rachel Smith

Occupation: Personal stylist, John Lewis
What are you wearing? Striped dress and jacket by Marella, thick waist leather belt by John Lewis, shoes by Dune and orange clutch bag by Whistles.
What’s your favourite trend for this season? Stripes are going to be everywhere season and I think they’re just so wearable. I’ve worn two clashing stripe prints, but they also mix well as separates with bright colours for the summer.
What do you like about Bristol Fashion Week? One of the great things about it is that it shows style at every age. It’s not just for younger people – there’s actually something for everyone in the show and it really supports the message that you can be stylish at every stage of your life.

Sarah Appleby

Occupation: Personal stylist, Oasis
What are you wearing? All the items I’m wearing are from the Oasis Spring Summer 16 collection.
What’s your favourite trend for this season? We’re going big on florals and they are really versatile, so that’s one of my faves. I also love boyfriend jeans for everyday wear. We’re also expecting a lot of underwear as outerwear, which is a lovely look for when the weather gets warmer.
What do you like about Bristol Fashion Week? I love that it brings together all the different high street stores, so you can see lots of different takes on each trend.

Stacey Jones

Occupation: Manager, Coast
What are you wearing? Everything I’m wearing is by Coast, naturally.
What’s your favourite trend for this season? I’m really into separates. Dresses are gorgeous but separates are so versatile because you can mix and match them, so for me all the lovely A-line skirts are a real must-have.
What do you like about Bristol Fashion Week? The great thing is that it’s not just about the show, there’s so much going on in The Mall as well, like the Pamper Zone where you can get your nails done and have complimentary massages, and in-store we like to make an occasion of it and invite people in. Even if you don’t have a ticket to the show, you can still take part, which is nice.

Bristol Fashion Week features 17 catwalk shows, showcasing the latest trends from the high street. It features fashion to suit every age, budget and size.

Tickets start from £8.95 for a standard ticket, £9.95 for a second row ticket and £13.95 for a front row ticket. Book online at www.mallcribbs.com/events-and-activities/bristol-fashion-week-ss16
