Run or Dye, a 5k fun run and colour fiesta

By Helen Martin  Wednesday Feb 25, 2015

Run or Dye is a 5k run dripping quite literally, in colour – and it’s coming to Bath on Saturday May 16

As runners make their way around the course they will be showered in safe, eco-friendly, plant-based powdered dye at every kilometre, turning each runner into a technicolour canvas. The finish line is no exception, as runners can expect to find themselves in a ‘colour storm’.

Bath’s Run or Dye race will be through Bath Racecourse and it’s hoped the event will encourage runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to enjoy the colourful event, getting covered in head-to-toe colour as they run, jog or walk to the finish line. There will be four ‘Dye Zones’ throughout the route, so ‘there’s no escape’.

Inspired by the ancient Hindu festival of Holi, also known as the Festival of Colours, Run or Dye gives runners, walkers and all speeds in-between, the opportunity to experience and celebrate in full colour the thrill of the festival and introduce the idea of ‘living life on purpose.
