Is this Bristol’s most unique home?
Self-expression is something many people take pride in.
But only a few are as passionate about their property as the owner of Belmont Penthouse Apartment, a two-bedroom luxury property spread over three floors.
The 158 sqm property in Coombe Dingle is currently being listed on Right Move by property letting agents, Strike, at £800,000, and its description is surreal.
is needed now More than ever
“A wonderfully imaginative piece of creative art that has passionate architecture alongside confident design, genius thought together with practical and eco technologies,” reads the listing.

A lengthy description by the owner has since been deleted, but Bristol24/7 was able to obtain screenshots of the description beforehand.
According to the owner, the house was conceived ten years ago, taking thousands of hours to build, and “is probably only now ready to be fully appreciated by society today”.
“Much of what is within this property is either unaffordable, unobtainable, or both now due to world and economic circumstances,” they continue.

The owner also cites labour costs as averaging £140 per day for the German-trained Jointer hired who would today charge £500 per day.
“The property is a testament to human genius creativity and a celebration of the incredible natural materials of divine mother earth. It is beyond comparable.”
The property is certainly luxurious, with state-of-the-art designer bathrooms, walk-in closets, massage chairs, bespoke cabinets, and sweeping views of Bristol and the surrounding countryside.

“Natural and unique woods, stones/minerals, and materials to create a natural and luxurious textured finish, feel and look, that is like being in another world,” the website states.
According to the owner, everyone from celebrity musicians, actors and artists to surgeons, hedge fund managers and “even successful transformed former criminals” have visited the property and declared it the best they have seen.
The owner is also keen to detail the reasoning behind the colour of the property, a regal green: “Green is THE Colour of 2022”.
They attribute inspiration for the colour to Farrow and Balls 2022 colour of the year, keeping on trend with the industry and citing colour psychology as another testimony for the selection.
Those interested in staying at the property can also still book a night’s stay on Booking.com, where the property is the highest-rated property in the city, charging an average of £580 per night.
