The Help to Buy: Equity Loan Scheme is available to first time buyers and existing homeowners. With a minimum deposit of 5 percent of the full purchase price of the property, you can secure your dream home with the Government lending up to 20 percent of the value of the property. Eligibility criteria apply.
Wapping Wharf Living, the name given to the new private sale homes, is hosting a Help to Buy weekend over Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th March, so potential buyers can find out more about the scheme.
In keeping with the historic dockside location, and phase one, Wapping Wharf Living has the same industrial wharf-like design and many apartments have balconies overlooking the new street scenes or internal garden courtyards.
Living at Wapping Wharf offers the best of all worlds. Located next to the harbour and M-Shed with the Arnolfini, Watershed and Bristol Old Vic all within walking distance, it is part of Bristol’s vibrant cultural and leisure hub.
Housed in two buildings called Abel Yard and Hope Quay, with five and six floors respectively, the new development has been designed by architects, Alec French, who also designed the previous homes at Wapping Wharf. Help to Buy currently applies to Abel Yard. Wapping Wharf Living is being developed in a joint venture between Umberslade and Muse Developments.
Prices for a one-bedroom apartment start from £255,000; a two-bedroom apartment from £355,000; and a three-bedroom apartment from £499,950.
