Have you ever been on a blind date before?

Andrea: No.

Danny: No.

What made you want to go on this blind date?

Andrea: The promise of free food and to try something new.

Danny: Through a friend.

What were your first thoughts when you saw your date?

Andrea: He looked like a nice laid back guy.

Danny: At least I wasn’t the latest.

What did you talk about?

Andrea: We seemed to talk about food quite a lot! But also travels, sport, living in Bristol.

Danny: Our jobs, food and sport mainly.

What was the atmosphere like?

Andrea: Relaxed.

Danny: Fine, bubbly.

Any moments when you wished you were somewhere else?

Andrea: Only just before I arrived, as I was quite nervous.

Danny: I was perfectly happy with the company I was in.

What would you say is the best characteristic of your date?

Andrea: He came across as having a real passion and ambition for his business to succeed, which was really nice to hear about.

Danny: Her personality.

What do you think your date made of you?

Andrea: Oh God, he hopefully thought I was a nice chatty person!

Danny: Probably not a good match.

Is there anything you would change about the evening?

Andrea: It was pretty hot in the restaurant when I arrived, so I probably flapped around a lot at first trying to cool down which may have been a bit off putting!

Danny: No, I had a nice time.

Did you go somewhere else after your meal?

Andrea: No.

Danny: No, we went our separate ways.

Were there any sparks of potential?

Andrea: I’m not sure.

Danny: No.

Will you meet again?

Andrea: I’d be happy to meet up again for a drink, but maybe more as friends.

Danny: No.
