Blaise Museum to host winter celebration
A day of festive celebration is taking place at Blaise Museum and Gardens this Saturday.
The day includes seasonal craft activities and a guest appearance from storyteller Michael Loader. The Winter market features 20 stalls of collectables, gifts, crafts and more and is perfect for finding unique presents in time for Christmas.
Local traders are providing a variety of handmade jewellery, cards and pottery products and there will be a tombola.

The cafe is also open with homemade treats, coffee and squash soup made from Blaise Garden produce.
There will also be a Christmas market in the community garden, next to the museum.

The community garden was set up in 2013 and is run by volunteers, intended for members of the community to come together and grow plants while learning about nature.
This family friendly day out is also the perfect chance to visit Blaise castle, take a walk around the estate and see the display about the history of the house.
