Christmas markets kick off from the beginning of November and last all the way until Christmas Eve. Bristol24/7 rounds up the best fayres to pick up a special gift at.

Bristol’s Christmas Market, Broadmead, Bristol, BS1 1UX

Over 50 stalls will line the city’s shopping centre, as well as the chance to see Father Christmas and see reindeer in December. There will also beJäger Barn Bar, and a chance to try curling.

Friday, November 8-Monday December 23, 10am-7pm (food and drink available until 10pm)

Mega Mistletoe Market, Filton Community Centre, Elm Park, Bristol, BS34 7PS

With over 70 stalls, this is a perfect opportunity to pick up an early Christmas gift. Father Christmas will also make an appearance, and the onsite café will be serving treats and hot and cold drinks.

Bristol’s Christmas Craft & Flea, Paintworks, Bath Road, Bristol, BS4 3EH

Filling the venue inside and out, Craft & Flea is a great opportunity to buy some of the best local produce, try great street food and buy gifts from flea market stalls offering vintage and collectables.

Soak up the merry atmosphere, discover handmade crafts and feast your taste buds on delicious street food at the festive-themed market.

Clifton Christmas Market, Christ Church Clifton, Clifton Down Road, Bristol, BS8 3BN

Local business owners and crafty individuals will be selling their wares, and the Spire Coffee House will be open to get a warm drink too.

Christmas Bazaar, Totterdown Methodist Church, Bushy Park, Bristol, BS4 2EG

Hosted by the church and the 175th Totterdown Scouts, expect warm wishes and fun at this fayre.

The Harbourside Christmas Market 2019, Harbourside Market, 1 Canons Road, Bristol, BS1 5UH

Running every weekend from the end of November until the big day, the Harbourside will be filled with makers and street food to enjoy every Saturday and Sunday.

November 23, 24 & 30 & December 1, 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 11am – 4pm

Bath Christmas Market, Bath City Centre, Bath, BA1

The award-winning market returns, with 150 chalets selling everything from  homeware to handcrafted jewellery.

Thursday, November 28-Sunday, December 15, various times

St Peter’s Hospice Christmas Market, Ashton Court Estate, Ashton Court Mansion, Bristol, BS41 9JN

Now in its 39th year, this annual market is a chance to buy everything from homemade cakes to stocking fillers, all while raising money for a local charity.

Saturday, November 30, 10am-3pm

Etsy Made Local Bristol 2019, City Hall, College Green, Bristol, BS1 5TR

Organised voluntarily by a team of local Etsy sellers, there will be a huge range of unique products to buy across two days, right in the centre of the city.

Saturday, November 30, 10am-5pm & Sunday, December 1, 10am-4pm

BS13 Community Champions Christmas Market, South Bristol Methodist Church Hall, Mowcroft Road, Bristol, BS13 0LT

With free entry, this South Bristol market will host over 30 stalls, as well as a raffle, a grotto, and live performances from the community choir.

Saturday, November 30, midday-4pm

Christmas Market, Arnos Vale Cemetery, Bath Road, Bristol, BS3 3EW

Showcasing local craft and product suppliers, Ginger Beards Preserves, Boulton Spirits, Sausagenius and Light Canes have already been announced as stall holders for this year.

Sunday, December 1, 10am-4pm

St Werburgh’s City Farm Winter Fair, St Werburgh’s City Farm, Watercress Road, Bristol, BS2 9YJ

With craft activities, farm-made goods, mulled drinks and local food, celebrate the festivities and browse stalls. There’s a chance to meet Father Christmas in his grotto and live music will be playing as well.

BS3 Community Christmas Market, The Southville Centre, Beauley Road, Bristol, BS3 1QG

As well as a chance to buy gifts, expect themed crafts and activities from Southville-based education company Launchpad and warming festive food from Kate’s Kitchen.
