Bristol’s Superdry teams up with Oxfam for #SecondHandSeptember
The Bristol Superdry store has added ‘Give Back’ boxes as part of Oxfam’s #SecondHandSeptember, where customers can donate clothes.
The store has partnered up with Oxfam to raise awareness of the harmful effects that the overconsumption of fashion has on the planet.
The Bristol Superdry store, located in Cabot Circus, will be twinned the local Oxfam shop, which will collect all donated items to be resold, reused, or recycled.

The boxes, which have been in-store since September 15, will encourage Superdry customers to have a more sustainable lifestyle and rethink fast fashion.
Julian Dunkerton, the chief executive of Superdry, said: “The urgency of the climate crisis has broadened how we think about ourselves and the way we approach business. As a business, we want to effect positive change for present and future generations and build a positive environmental legacy.”

The boxes have arrived in the local Superdry store following Bristol’s Sustainable Fashion Week, which saw community-led events across the city that focused on inspiring, empowering and upskilling the community and our approach to sustainable fashion.
