Christmas wish list no.5
This is a tricky age, they are still children who play with toys but some toys will be called babyish
Mix and match with some more mature gifts thrown in amongst the things they do still love but might pretend they don’t. For the girl that still loves to play make believe games the current movie favourite will provide all manner of gift ideas, unless you have been living under a rock (or don’t know any children) Frozen is the big thing right now. New trainers will certainly impress, and high tops always look cool. Sporting gifts encourage good habits, bikes, skateboards and skates are awesome presents.

Girls
is needed now More than ever
Nail varnish. If they don’t already paint their nails they will soon. Go sparkly or bright.
Frozen DVD, all kids are crazy for this. If they don’t already have it make their Christmas. Please note you may have to watch this 37 times in one week.
Trainers. Make sure they’re a favourite colour, high tops are the coolest
Cute hats or hair accessories. Alice bands, bows, hair clips and bobble hates make great stocking fillers
Satchel; a brand new bright satchel for school will never fail to make them feel grown up. The Cambridge Satchel company will even engrave intitals.
Jewellery; nothing too expensive here but another great stocking filler. Sparkly and delicate.
Boys.
A digital watch. Something hardwearing that can be worn everyday.
Star Wars loving parents, if you haven’t already introduced this now is the time. It is still awesome.
Clothes will rarely get enthusiasm but a cool jumper is always needed and appreciate by Mum!
Bikes. A big present but one any tween girl or boy will go crazy for.
If your tween is into sport encourage this. It’s a great thing. A new football or tennis racket might even get them outside on boxing day!
