Costco petrol takes off like a rocket
Petrol and fireworks are a pretty explosive combination but this didn’t stop Costco launching their third fuel station on November the 5th at the end of last year. The fuel station offers an attractive extra saving to all Costco customers who visit their store in Avonmouth. Sales have taken off like a rocket as Costco own brand fuels are sold at cost price as a benefit to members. Costco became the first outlet in Bristol to offer fuel for under a pound a litre. Costco in Avonmouth offer a massive range of brand name merchandise at substancially lower prices that other retail and wholesale outlets. To access their warehouse full of super discounted goodies you need to join as a member.
The forecourt has 12 self-service pumps serving a selection of three Costco fuels – Unleaded, Premium Unleaded and Premium Diesel. All Costco fuels are formulated to restore engine performance and protect against future deposits. Costco’s additives help improve performance, restore fuel economy and reduce emissions as well as cleaning and protecting fuel injectors.
The fuel station is open to Costco members only, and offers great value on high quality petrol and diesel fuels. The modern self-service facility is designed for fast refueling and ease of use with hoses dispense fuel conveniently from pumps on either side of their vehicle. For speed of service pay-at-the-pump technology is installed which accepts Debit Cards or any American Express card as payment.

The fuel station is open 7 days a week – Monday to Friday 6am to 9.30pm, Saturday 6am to 7pm and Sunday 7am to 6pm. Costco Liverpool were the first UK warehouse to open a Fuel station in June 2014 and Oldham opened their fuel station in August 2015. The next stations will be in Sheffield, Thurrock and Derby early 2016.
