E-Cigilicious, Bristol’s newest E-Cigarette/Vape shop has just opened in Clifton with a comprehensive range of upmarket e-cigarettes and vaping supplies. This stylish new shop can be found at the top of Whiteladies Road – just across the zebra crossing from the Cowshed and near Clifton Down. The shops clean white decor is bright and approachable for newbie vapers. The sheer variety of kit can seem overwhelming at first. Basically it distils down to a simple choice of clearomiser, the clear tank showing how much liquid is left, and of battery. A bigger battery and tank size extend the time before re-charging or e-liquid top ups are needed. 

E-Cigilicious owners, Sharon & Ian have enjoyed great success with their Flagship store in Cardiff which opened back in July 2013. They are very friendly and happy to help anyone find the best kit for their needs. Beginner vapers generally opt for a simple starter kit at around £30. They are inexpensive and easy to use. Ian & Sharon’s stated aim is to offer, “The highest quality personal vaping solutions at competitive prices”. He’s selected from the more highly rated Flavour Houses – who manufacture e-liquids that are a little bit different. Trip Hammer, a main supplier, offers flavours with names like Cream Tea, Fizzy Trifle and Green Hornet. Green Hornet’s mix of mint and lime provide a strong flavour where Oreo Milkshake and Custard Donut offer a smoother vaping experience. Vaping is reckoned to be up to 70% cheaper than smoking and contains a staggering 4,000 fewer chemicals than tobacco.

Maybe vape shops are the new tobacconists – customers return to try new flavours, replace bits of kit, get advice and for repairs. Many pop in to the shop to say hello or proudly tell them they’ve managed another week without tobacco.
