When it comes to Christmas activities with the kids at home, it can become more a case of ‘Christmess’ than ‘Christmas’ if their creativity gets out of hand. So the family events at The Galleries are a win, win all round – they get to hone their creative talents while you get to relax in the knowledge that your home doesn’t resemble the aftermath of an elves Christmas knees up! Plus you can actually enjoy the experience too – and marvel in wonderment at their Christmas creations of course.

Every weekend from 18 November – 23 December and every weekday the week before Christmas, you’ll find lots of opportunities for the kids join the fun! They can hone their creative skills in their craft workshops, get cooking up a Christmas storm in the kitchen with Mrs Claus and give the centre their expert opinion on the season’s top toys.
On Saturdays 18th November and 2nd December the kids are invited to join the reindeer rock – fun-filled reindeer party with craft workshop, photo opportunities, lots of dancing and cheeky reindeer games!
On Saturdays 25th November and 9th December they can get cookie making with Mrs Claus. They’ll don their cook’s hats to join Mrs Claus in the kitchen as she reads a festive tale and bakes some cookies for the little ones to decorate and take home.
From Saturday 16th to Saturday 23rd December The Galleries will be recruiting some new agents to join their secret team of toy testers – putting all the best toys from stores at The Galleries through their paces and giving their ultimate verdict on their toy-ometer. Get down there to join the fun!
Plus children can enjoy the chance to meet Santa Claus himself, every weekend in December and the whole week before Christmas, as he will be stopping by to say hello!
This Christmas The Galleries are seriously upping the feel-good factor with a series of competitions in the run up to the big day – giving you the opportunity to win a bonus gift or two, so keep an eye on the centre’s website and social media channels for your chance to win!
