is needed now More than ever
The Tudor period occurred between AD1485 and 1603 when Britain was ruled by the Tudor monarchs. This era was famous for Henry VIII and his six wives, beautiful palaces and castles and the plays of William Shakespeare. The Galleries’ LEGO® brick exhibition brings to life some of this incredible era that changed the face of Britain with a huge model of Hever Castle (Anne Boleyn’s childhood home), plus Shakespeare’s Globe and a sculpture of Henry VIII based on the famous painting by Hans Holbein.
Brick Galleria, a professional LEGO® brick model building company which creates memorable and engaging models out of LEGO® bricks, has painstakingly built these masterpieces in great detail, using hundreds of thousands of bricks, to create a fun and inspirational, but educational experience for all. The display is on show until this Sunday, 8th April.
Colin Lang, Centre Manager, The Galleries says, “We’re really excited about our LEGO® Brick Exhibit, it’s already attracted a lot of atention from visitors, over the last week. LEGO® is a toy that spans the generations, so we’re sure that this exhibit will be popular with young and old alike and we hope that everyone comes in to marvel at the incredibly intricate models.”
