Liz Vidal

By Made In Bristol  Thursday Oct 25, 2018

Liz creates wonderfully tactile stoneware ceramics that are designed to be held, used and cherished everyday.  Her hand-thrown pieces in soft neutral tones have a simple, functional beauty that belies the long and careful making process – on average three weeks for each piece.

Mottled grey and turquoise stoneware collection by Liz Vidal. Prices: Bud vase £22; small trinket dishes £12 for set of  3; espresso cup & saucer £14

After graduating, Liz worked and taught in London before travelling and working in Bali and Australia. She has created bespoke pieces for restaurants including Coya in Mayfair and Fera at Claridges. Now settled in North Bristol, she also runs pottery workshops in hand building, wheel work and decorative techniques.
