New kitchen showroom opening in Wapping Wharf
A shop that offers a way to add custom elements to your kitchen is the latest independent business to open in Wapping Wharf.
HUSK sells custom-made cabinet fronts and worktops for IKEA cabinets.
The team is currently fitting out their new showroom in a single converted shipping container in Cargo 2 that was previously home to Squeezed, which has recently expanded into Cargo 1 to open a larger restaurant.

HUSK is set to open to the public on Friday with a full range of kitchen front samples available for visitors to the showroom to take away, as well as stone samples from Dekton and Neolith.
As well as using the space for consultations, the business will also be stocking teapots, mugs, cups, plant pots and more from brands such as Kinto, Menu and Frama.

HUSK’s Millie Teden said: “When we heard there was an opportunity to join this amazing community, we jumped at the chance.
“We sing and dance about the fact we are a Bristol independent business, so it felt like the perfect fit for us.
“We are so looking forward to having a dedicated space to showcase our cabinets and offer customers one-to-one guidance, drawing on our many years of experience.”
All their cabinets are made in its Montpelier workshop, with the business championing the use of materials that are sustainably produced.
For every kitchen it sells, it donates 50 trees to Treesisters – a UK charity on a mission to rapidly accelerate tropical forestation.

Stuart Hatton, managing director at Umberslade, the developer behind Wapping Wharf, said: “A huge welcome to HUSK.
