Pop-up gift shop opens
A pop-up shop selling gifts has opened in Brislington.
It has taken owner Naomi Evans just two weeks to set up These Two Hands in a former barbershop on Sandy Park Road.
The business, which Naomi has been running online for the last four years, sells items made from natural and sustainable materials.
is needed now More than ever
Handmade ceramics, balms and linen pieces are just some of the goods up for grabs in the new pop-up.
“I’ve always wanted a shop and somewhere to have everything in place,” says Naomi, who lives in Brislington and is also co-owner of Firebird Studios.
“There seems to be desire locally to have a gift shop and I feel that people have been supporting small businesses and small shops a lot more over the last year and a bit.”

The gifts in These Two Hands are made by 50 local makers, and seven shelves are being rented out to local crafters.
The shop also sells plantable gifts – including greeting cards embedded with wildflower seeds – flowers presses, and jewellery made from real leaves.
The pop-up is set to close at the end of the year, but Naomi is hopeful that it lasts beyond that.
“I’d quite like to stay longer if people want it,” adds Naomi, who also runs nature-inspired craft workshops in BS4.
“Ideally, I’d like a shop with a cafe and workshop space.
“I love telling people the story behind how everything in the shop has been made, because everything here is unique and has a bit of a story behind it.”
