Popular toy shop opens new store selling board games and more

By Martin Booth  Sunday Nov 14, 2021

A shop selling board games, jigsaws, puzzles, stationery and gifts has been opened by the team behind a popular toy shop.

Toyville Games has a different focus to Toyville, which remains at 9 North Street in Bedminster.

The new shop has taken over the unit previously occupied by Storysmith bookshop, which is due to reopen soon in new premises at 236 North Street in the former Strava Cycles.

The first sale at Toyville Games at 49 North Street was a jigsaw puzzle of Bristol.

“We’re open!” wrote the Toyville Games team on Instagram.

“It’s very much a soft opening while we wait for more stock to arrive but it’s great to be open and seeing customers.”
