Street art-themed stay at the Grand Hotel

By Bristol24/7  Thursday Nov 30, 2017

A city centre hotel has teamed up with Upfest to produce a walking tour map of street art across the city.

The Mercure Bristol Grand Hotel’s new ‘Art-ernoon Tea’ package also gives guests a chance to enjoy a selection of art-themed treats at the hotel on Broad Street as well as entry to the RWA.

The deal, available until January 31 2018, will give guests the chance to tour some of city’s most interesting street art locations and return to the Grand for an art-inspired afternoon tea.

The Grade II-listed hotel’s recent makeover saw more than 500 pieces of locally sourced art adorn the corridors and the bedrooms, with bespoke works commissioned by Bristol artists Gemma Compton and Cai Burton.

To book the ‘Art-ernoon Tea’ package at Mercure Bristol Grand Hotel from £18.95 per person, call 0117 9291 654. Rooms start from an additional £85 per night including breakfast. For more information, visit www.mercure.com/gb/hotel-A0I2-mercure-bristol-grand-hotelnewly-refurbished/index.shtml
