A gingerbread Clifton Suspension Bridge

Initiations of any sort are rarely a walk in the park, but few have been set with a more mammoth task than newest member of The Food and Drink Guide team Alex Everill.

As a festive celebration of the guide’s Bristol heritage, Alex was set the task of creating a miniature replica of the Clifton Suspension Bridge – entirely out of gingerbread – as a debut challenge for their blog, Fed Up & Drunk.

The tasty creation took him two days to complete, and in between the kneading, baking and icing he managed to film a time-lapse video of the work in progress. See the impressive construction below:
