Founded in 2019 by Jessy and Tom, Sprouts were originally operating from their spare bedroom whilst working full time, driving around Bristol and the surrounding area on the weekends to deliver plant-y goodness. Sprouts opened their Kingsdown shop in October 2020, with both Jessy and Tom taking the leap to leave their day jobs to run the business full time.
Since then, they’ve expanded their range of plants to offer one of the largest ranges of house plants in Bristol, as well as offering plant care, seeds, artwork, gift cards, homeware, and more. Sprouts stock 50+ lines from independent makers, artists, and small businesses, championing UK, local, and sustainable businesses.
The back room of the shop also doubles up as a workshop space, with a range of crafty workshops being run such as wreath making, candle holder making, and macrame.
