Here’s what kept Bristol going through lockdown

By Hannah Cornford  Tuesday May 4, 2021

On Monday, March 23 2020 Bristol came to a halt. A year on, as part of our Bringing Bristol Together campaign, we asked you, our readers and members, to share what kept you going.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to send in your videos, we’ve compiled the entries into our final campaign film for you to enjoy.

From playing with pets and Go Go dancing in the kitchen, to sunny hikes and new hobbies – here’s what kept Bristol busy.

We hope you enjoy watching the entries as much as we did! If you have a video you wanted to share, it’s not too late to take part. Simply post it on your socials and @Bristol247, and use the hashtag #BringingBristolTogether and we’ll share as many of them as we can!

Hannah Beatrice, Bristol24/7 Community Manager, says: “Bristol24/7 strives to bring Bristol together, and that’s what this campaign is about. This film is just the beginning of our campaign which will continue to celebrate the best of the city, bring our community together, and spread some happiness and joy.”
