Is this Bristol’s most expensive house?
Bristol has its fair share of expensive properties.
Recently the city came third in the UK’s house prices index, sliding in just behind London and Birmingham.
But even Clifton’s multi million pound town houses and Temple Quarter’s sleek apartments with panoramic views don’t compare to Knight Frank’s latest property.
is needed now More than ever
Steeped in gilded opulence – think chandeliers, plush velvet, horseshoe driveway – Park Hill, a nine bedroom property in Abbots Leigh, is nothing short of luxurious.

Some of the lavish amenities on offer include a gym, sauna, dressing rooms, roof terrace, cinema and games room.
There’s even two ‘hobby rooms’ – although what exactly these hobbies are remains unclear.

The 700 square metre property also comes kitted out with its own lodge, which boasts an office space, kitchen and shower room, and three entire garages.
The star of the show is perhaps the ‘leisure building’, holding a huge indoor swimming pool, spa, kitchen and bespoke bar.

The current owner, who bought the property in 2016, has renovated the entire property with underfloor heating, sub-zero kitchen equipment and extensive CCTV to push it into the modern age.
Park Hill dates back to the 1920s, and although it has seen a huge refurbishment since then, Georgian style sash windows, balconies, and multiple terraces celebrate the historic background of this lavish home.

The surrounding grounds are equally impressive. Spanning 11.5 hectares, the estate boasts a woodland, a stream, stables, a well-designed garden, and of course, a tennis court, set amongst parkland and rolling views of the Severn Estuary.

Abbots Leigh is one of the most sought-after addresses in the Bristol area, but the asking price for Park Hill humbles even the area’s wealthiest residents.
Park Hill comes in at a whopping £9,500,000, making it quite possibly the most expensive property to go on the market in Bristol.

Although the property is two miles from Clifton Suspension Bridge, it may not work for those looking to experience the beating heart of Bristol.
The journey from Stokes Croft back to Park Hill is not for the fainthearted, so those looking to be in the heart of Bristol’s bustling nightlife might want to look for somewhere with a few less zeros on the price tag…
