Music, food and fun at St Werburgh’s City Farm
Every year St Werburgh’s City Farm hosts their summer fair – a one-day, family-friendly festival.
2019 is no exception as the occasion returns bigger than ever with an array of Bristol artists and companies are attending to showcase the best of the city’s music, art, food and drink.
Welcoming 60,000 visitors a year and providing support for 3,500 less advantaged individuals, an important part of the farm’s calendar is their summer fair, which takes place on Saturday, June 8 from midday.
is needed now More than ever
This year’s event sees an impressive lineup of performers over four music stages. Backbeat Soundsystem and Mango factory perform at The Haystack and Vapor and Circe’s Diner will entertain crowds at The Boiling Wells stage.
In the Farm pub next door, enjoy bands including Immigrant Swing and MonkeyFist. Meanwhile, Bristol Samba will perform in the Mina Road tunnel.
For those preferring food, expect pizza, noodles, curries, sushi and much more. Cocktails, wine, beers, and artisan coffee will quench the thirst.
To keep the kids (and big kids) entertained, hair braiding, crafts, storytelling and face painting is available.
There will also be a silent disco in The Barn in Boiling Wells, for those wanting to get their groove on to their chosen track.
Tickets cost up to £8 and are available at www.tickettailor.com/events/stwerburghscityfarm1
