Oktoberfest for dogs is coming to Bristol
If you’ve ever had to choose between staying at home with the dog or going to the pub with friends – you don’t have to make that decision when planning your Oktoberfest celebrations this year.
Dog Furiendly is coming to Bristol on Saturday, October 6 for Oktoberfest celebrations that both pooch and owner can enjoy.
An online community for dog-owners, Dog Furiendly lists cafes, pubs, restaurants, attractions, shops and walks that are dog-friendly. Their Oktoberfest event will take place at Prince Street Social, with three sessions at 10.30am, 1pm and 5.30pm.

The first session at 10:30am is designed for dog owners with children. There will be a Kinder disco, as well as game, prizes and treats.
Dogs and owners will be immersed into a yodeling performance from Yodellynne during the afternoon session, starting at 1pm. There is also the opportunity to laugh along with Hannah E Phillips, dog-loving author of No Run Intended.
The day ends with an Oompah pah, with authentic Bavarian music from the Bierkeller Boys and a dog show crowning the most Handsome Hansel and Gorgeous Gretel.
