Secret Life of Four-Year-Olds star from Bristol

By Leanne Brommage  Monday Nov 7, 2016

A four-year-old from Longwell Green is one of the stars of a new Channel 4 documentary series.

Enzo Lagana was chosen from thousands of applicants to appear on our screens as part of the Channel Four’s The Secret Life of Four-Year-Olds.

The documentary aims to observe the interactions made between a group of children at a specially set up nursery and follows the unique relationships they make.

Enzo’s mum Nicole was not surprised the producers fell for her son.

She said: “I sent some videos to the producers and then we went to an audition where they set up a play date and Enzo talked to the psychologists.

“In the end he was chosen to stay for the whole two weeks of filming and he absolutely loved it.”

Enzo has been attending Mama Bear’s Nursery in St George since he was 20 months old.

Nicole added: “I’m a big believer in the benefits of nursery for children, which is why this programme was so interesting to us.

“We went to Mama Bear after filming and everyone was saying he was a celebrity. We have tried to play it down at home; we don’t want him getting a big head!”

The Secret Life of Four-Year-Olds starts on Channel 4 on Tuesday, November 8 at 8pm.
